- To oversee and manage security and software delivery and performance
- To oversee and manage 3rd party technology, 3rd party technology licences and technology vendors
- To propose Budgets for Technology & Test Teams and Technology Spend Projects
- To lead team growth, recruitment and high performance
- Work with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to define the Vision for the technical function in alignment with Corporate Strategy, and set out short-, mid- and long-term goals including client specific vision and requirements
- Define and deliver against the Technology and Development Strategies that set out the role of the technical function in alignment with Corporate Strategy
- Define secure SDLC processes and manage process improvement to enhance security and delivery
- Ensure software is compliant with ICH GCP and other appropriate regulations for clinical trials data
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of leadership in technology roles, with experience in software development, engineering management, or related fields.
- Extensive knowledge of modern software development methodologies, technologies, and best practices, with expertise in areas such as cloud computing, big data analytics, machine learning, and cybersecurity.
- Experience in the healthcare, life sciences, or clinical research industries, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry trends.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations and drive alignment between technology and business objectives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
