As a responsible neighbour in the Thunder Bay region, Impala Canada actively partners with local organizations, programs and events focused on healthcare, education and community development to help enhance the quality of life for all.Job Description:Ability to Operate the secondary crusher cicuit, Pebble crushers circuit and grinding circuits (SAG and Ball mills).
Ability to Operate the dewatering circuit including all mixing of mill reagents and chemicals.
Ability to Operate the Concentrate load out for both Bulk and Semi Bulk.
Ability to Operate operate 914 CAT loader or similar loader
Knowledgeable about the Ministry of Labour and Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations, as they pertain to the operation of crushing and milling facilities.
The duties of the Mill Operator team members involve the safe management and operation of equipment and tools needed to perform all the duties of the position.
The Mill Operator 2 functions as a member of a team mostly with help from another Mill Operators when needed.
The Primary areas of responsibility are the dewatering, concentrate and chemical operations.Qualifications:Minimum of two (2) years experience in the operation of mineral processing and milling equipment with experince in dewatering and chemical mixing/distribution.
Verbal and written proficiency of the English language.
Strong Computer skills.
