Reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategic Procurement Development, we are looking for a proactive and results-oriented individual interested in driving procurement excellence in a global environment through initiatives aimed at optimizing cost, enhancing processes, and ensuring top-notch quality.What you will do
  • Lead and drive procurement/sourcing projects, from inception to realization, with a focus on cost, process, and quality improvement.
  • Manage communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Engineering, R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Supply Chain, to ensure project alignment and timely completion.
  • Drive and facilitate design changes through value engineering, efficiency enhancement, and quality improvement, working closely with suppliers and the engineering team for implementation.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed and concise project reports for management review, including CAPEX investment across the procurement team.
  • Support other ad hoc activities.
What you bringExperience & Personal Competencies
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent business studies, with more than 5 years of procurement experience, particularly in Engineering, Procurement, Operations Research, Supply Chain, materials management, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrates a track record of driving cost savings projects and presenting strategies/results to various levels of a complex matrix organization.
  • Able to take ownership and manage large and complex projects across functions, lead cross-functional teams, and facilitate consensus across departments and geographies.
  • Possesses high integrity, maturity, and the drive to work independently under pressure while aligning priorities for execution.
  • Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment (i.e. project risk minimization, bring about team improvements).
  • Prior experience and knowledge to manage supplier relationships, mitigate risks, address quality issues, and mitigate supply chain disruptions will be beneficial.
