Taco Technologies [ABN: 75 629 286 700] located in Alexandria NSW, is a well-established organisation that is adopting a new ERP system and seeking a product expert to oversee the implementation. Our unique partnerships mean our systems interact with our customers buying platforms, and so this role will be ongoing and adaptive to market needs.We are seeking an experienced Product Implementation Engineer to join our team.This exciting role will see you working closely with multiple teams across Product, Tech Services and Senior Management along with meetings with customers to ensure their users and continue to interact with our systems to maximise efficacy in our ecosystem.Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Testing and evaluating new hardware products, document installation and preparing troubleshooting guides, with a focus on developing procedures for testing electronic components and systems.
Analysing network level requirements for customers
Design Papercut and Cilantro software configurations into multi-functional devices (MFDs), Kiosks, Card readers and other computer hardware components in the system.
Supervise maintenance and repair for hardware components
Monitor operations and performance of hardware products
Develop techniques & algorithms on how Cilantro software interacts with PaperCut and hardware products
Design and develop solutions along with our Development team and Hardware Product Specialist
Supervise installation and configuring of computer hardware components to ensure optimal performance, access control and security
Perform product testing & document any required updates/changes in documentation for clientsThe successful candidate will have:Relevant Tertiary Qualification or equivalent industry experience
Ability to design hardware circuit solutions to AUS/NZ standards
Good working knowledge of design and diagnostic software packages such as PSpice, KiCad, Altium, Fusion 360, Wireshark & Packet-Tracer
Able to diagnose and repair electrical components used in kiosks
Basic JavaScript for Card Reader Script programming
Able to diagnose complex software issue from log files
Experience with microcontrollers such as Arduino & Raspberry Pi
Working Knowledge of the following frameworks for kiosks is essential
QT Framework
ccTalk
MDB protocols
Serial COM protocol
Core understanding of technologies such as backup, recovery and virtualisation (Veeam, VMware, HyperV, etc)
Demonstrable technical knowledge of Core infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Mail, Hypervisor)Our office is located in Sydney close to transport links. Flexible WFH options are available however at least 2 - 3 days in the office per week is an important component of the team culture.Salary: Minimum AUD $75-$80K per year plus
