- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
- Location: CCRES, 406 Boot Rd, Downingtown, PA
- Salary Range: $57,000 - $62,000 (based on years of experience)
- Perform payroll and payroll-related activities
- Meet payroll deadlines
- Follow verbal and written instructions and suggest improvements to payroll processes
- Update working instructions and payroll standard operating procedures as needed
- Make work-related payroll decisions independently and ask for feedback on questions
- Maintain knowledge of continually changing applicable guidelines, regulations, and laws, established by but not limited to the Internal Revenue Services, Medical Assistance, the Department of Human Service, various managed care organizations, various county, township, and city governmental agencies
- Hold payroll functions confidential and maintain the highest ethical standard
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related area - preferred
- Bachelor's Degree: 3 years of payroll experience
- Associate's Degree: 4-5 years of payroll experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent: 5-7 years of payroll experience
- Proficiency with excel and payroll systems
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
- TB Screening (within 3 months)
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
