- Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety policies and conducting training in accordance with company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent workplace injuries.
- Lead the development, oversight, and execution of continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
- Ensure adherence to company-standard processes and methodologies, with a focus on Lean Transformation.
- Coordinate Kaizen events and facilitate the adoption of the PDCA cycle on the factory floor, supporting ongoing improvement projects through cross-functional team facilitation and project management.
- Utilize lean manufacturing tools such as value stream mapping, Kaizen, Charters, 5S, Gemba walks, LMS, and root cause problem-solving to identify and implement solutions for operational enhancement.
- Serve as the main point of contact with steering committees and collaborate with KPOs from other plants to leverage programs aimed at enhancing operations and reducing waste.
- Bachelor's degree in Science required, preferably in Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in facilitating multiple Kaizen events.
- Expertise in lean methodologies and tools.
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to plant lean transformation efforts.
- Certification as a Six Sigma Black or Green Belt preferred.
- Demonstrated impact, reliability, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to champion new ideas, adapt, and provide practical solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong written, oral, and analytical skills.
- Excellent problem identification and resolution abilities.
- Capable of planning, prioritizing, and organizing work independently.
- Track record of successfully completing multiple projects.
- Limited travel required (approximately 20%).
- On-site role based in the plant location.
- Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
- Occasional weekend work may be required to meet production needs.
- Role involves standing on your feet for 60% of the day and frequent presence on the plant floor.
- Prior leadership experience preferred but not required.
