Then we want to hear from you!We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team here the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) Co-ordinating Centre. This is a brand new role to our team with lots of room for the successful postholder to grow and develop.Who are we?The NIHR funds, enables, and delivers world-leading health and social care research that improves people's health and well-being and promotes economic growth. Our research helps turn discoveries into new or improved treatments, diagnostics, medical technologies, and services providing those working in the NHS, public health, global health and social care with the evidence to better support patients, the public and people who need care.What will you do?Working alongside Business Intelligence Analysts and Monitoring, Evaluation and Leaning Managers, you will draft reports using data extraction, manipulation, and analysis to reveal insights and provide analytical support for a range of projects.You can expect to be:
  • Providing guidance and excellent customer service to our service users and sign posting them to the most appropriate area of support.
  • Supporting service desk enquiries and triaging enquires within the Insight and Evaluation team.
  • Contribute to the review and maintenance of procedures and processes. And identifying any improvements needed.
Who are we looking for?We are looking for someone who enjoys working with data and can accurately analyse and interpret data into useful insights. You will be comfortable working with both numerical and text-based data sources. Other keys skills needed to be successful in this role include:
  • Being able to prioritise different work steams and work flexibly across a range of projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assistance to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Be a team player with a flexible approach to work as well as being able to work independently as required.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy in working with complex data.
