You will work with Product and Design teams to develop new features and manage our Marketplace Web App, Backend Services, Data & Automations. You will be building Rich Frontend Interactions with ReactJs and Performant Backend APIs & Services in NodeJs. This role reports to the CTO.Responsibilities:

Develop applications and services for Novelship's Marketplace Web and Mobile App across the front end & back end.
Write thoughtful and high-quality code in React and Node.

Work closely with product managers, designers and engineers across multiple platforms and domains. * Be a technical project owner, driving projects from the requirements to the completion stage.

Set and deliver the architectural vision for high-impact features and changes across the product stack.
Align with Novelship's Engineering Best Practices and Leadership Principles.

Maintain and ensure scalability of the backend systems and the teams running them. * Conform, maintain, and improve continuous integration and delivery lifecycle processes.

Automate engineering and production activities.
Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
Identify opportunities to enhance or improve existing applications and services.

Requirements:

Proficient in Node, Javascript & React ecosystems.
Proficient in PostgreSQL/NoSQL.
Experience in React Native is a bonus
Experience with database design, API design, algorithms and data structures and AWS.
2+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with an end-user product development focus.
You have strong communication skills and deep respect for the power of teamwork
You are eager to learn; regardless of your current skill level or experience.
