- Be the first point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding Sales Operations planning and practices inquiries applicable to the assigned market.
- The Manager Licensing Control will report on a regular basis on the workload, SLA's and quality of the licenses processed, aligning with the various stakeholders.
- Workload management: Consistently review volume and complexity to ensure priorities are met, customer and stakeholder expectations are met. This will require discussions and alignment with stakeholders.
- Tender Management: Hands on support on tender procedures around the EMEA region. Manage and improve the tendering workflow.
- Regular alignment with key internal stakeholder departments.
- Support the Legal Department by preparing case and issue summaries to facilitate swift resolution.
- Interact with other team members and be first point of interaction within LC to address complex questions with respect to contract issues.
- Establish actions to achieve departments objectives by gathering pertinent business, service, and operations information.
- Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing, and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system and workflow improvement.
- Project management of key continuous improvement activities in the Contracting department.
- Ensure First Time Right (FTR) and turn-around-time (TAT) standards / targets are met.
- Analyze customer feedback in line with Springer Nature customer satisfaction goals and coordinating with the team and stakeholders to meet them on a steady basis through continuous improvement actions.

- Bachelor's or master's Degree Legal or equivalent.
- Fluent in English (both written and oral) and local languages (regional requirements) are a must.
- Proficient in using multiple business systems.
- Experience in commercial processes, including legal alignment, sales cycle, and customer engagement activities.
- Good computer skills, Proficiency with MS-Office-Suite
- Knowledge of CRM (customer relationship management) & contracting system
- Salesforce (required)
