head chef – daytime focusedFulltime PositionHead chef required for a private health care establishment near Clapham / Brixton in London. This establishment cooks high end fresh food for both in patients and out patient day care. You will be cooking good quality produce as this establishment believe that high end good quality food is all part of the healing process for people recovering. Due to the nature of this type of establishment you will need to be able to have a DBS check, you will need strong allergens and diets knowledge and a very high standard in food hygiene. This role is 40 hours per week, mainly daytime and early evening focused due to it being a health care setting. This is only a small facility, so its more like a restaurant type of cooking then a mass hospital cooking.The role
As a Head chef you will ensure the meals are produced for this health care facility. You will ensure the various allergens are followed, that various menus are ready for soft diets, high protein diets, low salt diets etc etc. You will ensure the quality is a high standard, using foods that are great for vitamins & the various food compounds that you need to eat when recovering. This role will include all the normal head chef duties of a health care facility.Experience
We are looking for a Head chef who can cook fresh food, who understands the importance of vitamins and compounds in a diet, who runs a very clean kitchen which is essential for a health care venue. You will be very organised and serve food on time, as the whole of the in patient and out patient day and routine runs around the meal times etc.head chef
