As a Customer Support Specialist and Short Cycle Coordinator, you'll serve as the linchpin of our customer support operations. Reporting directly to our Field Service Manager, you'll be the go-to expert, handling complex inquiries, and resolving issues with finesse. Your primary focus will be coordinating Short Cycle Business (SPOT) work effectively, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery requirements. Additionally, you'll collaborate with various teams to prepare comprehensive customer documentation and provide invaluable support throughout the project lifecycle.Responsibilities:
  • Manage the creation, follow-up, invoicing, and closure of SPOT, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Review customer Purchase Orders and specifications to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate SPOT work and production schedules efficiently to meet customer deadlines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer requests and queries, delivering prompt and effective solutions.
  • Monitor and report engineering team progress, ensuring alignment with project schedules.
  • Prepare and report monthly revenue and cost forecasts, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Arrange and attend customer and third-party meetings, fostering strong relationships.
  • Update SFDC and SAP systems with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding variation orders and increased Purchase Orders.
  • Provide essential support to the engineering team for administrative tasks and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to analyze contract profitability and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform financial tasks, including Goods Receipt and customer invoicing, with precision and timeliness.
  • Drive financial fiscal month and quarter closing
Additional Skills:
  • Relevant financial education with a strong understanding of Finance principles.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications; familiarity with SFDC (Sales Force) is preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer handling skills.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven effectiveness in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional Scandinavian languages is advantageous.
