Join a high-performing team of trial lawyers and litigators defending some of the most prominent brands and large corporations in product liability and toxic tort litigation nationwide.For candidates with 3 to 8 years of litigation experience, this role provides a unique opportunity to learn from talented partners, develop your trial skills on a supportive and successful team, and contribute significantly to high-stakes cases.Responsibilities
  • Engage in all facets of trial preparation, including strategy formulation, discovery, record analysis, client interviews, and witness preparation.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on legal issues, people, businesses, and worksites.
  • Draft briefs, memos, and client communications.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
  • Travel nationwide for legal proceedings, client meetings, and other occasions up to 20% of the time, sometimes on short notice.
Qualifications
  • Active license and good standing with the New York State Bar; additional bar admissions are a plus.
  • 3-8 years of experience in defense litigation, preferably involving product liability or toxic exposures.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, prioritize efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • High degree of independence and initiative, coupled with the ability to work seamlessly within a team-oriented setting.
