Hikma Pharmaceuticals is currently seeking a talented Summer Intern to join the US Communications team in its Columbus, Ohio, Site. As an Intern, you will earn practical experience as a fully integrated member of our team and participate in meaningful projects that will add value to our organization. In this role, you will create Communications materials, including articles for our Connect intranet and our quarterly employee newsletter, Hikma North America News, internal email announcements, content for our internal digital screens and social media content to promote Hikma's businesses, achievements and positive impact on the US healthcare system and its patients.About Hikma:Hikma helps put better health within reach every day for millions of people around the world.   • Assist in the development and implementation of Hikma's employee communications, including stories for Hikma's intranet, Connect, and its quarterly employee print newsletter, Hikma North America News.
  • Provide writing and research support to the US communications team including drafting and editing promotional and recap stories for local site Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) events.
  • Create social media content, using written copy, photos, video, and more to share Hikma's story across the company's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
  • Research opportunities to raise the profile of the Hikma brand in central Ohio.
  • Provide logistical support for internal events such as employee town halls and external media events, as necessary.
  • Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
  • Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
  • Overall, cumulative GPA must be at least 3.0 (on 4.0 scale) or better.
  • Pursuing degree in communications or public affairs, preferably
  • Experience or interest in using social media tools for brands including LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Willingness to learn how to use new tools, such as SharePoint, Umbraco and Khoros
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly motivated and inquisitive with a strong desire to learn.
  • Organization skills to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to details.
  • Planning and Organizational skills.
  • Proficient usage of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction, no sponsorship offered at this time.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
