This is not simply our job, its our passion.With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Purchasing Supervisor to join the OneOnly Palmilla FamilyJob DescriptionSupervise and participate in the operation of the Purchasing Department, to provide the Hotel Departments with the merchandise they require, purchasing the best quality, at the best price, with the best payment conditions and the shortest delivery time.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesControl the prices of the different items that are acquired through tenders.
Make purchases taking care that the negotiated quality effectively corresponds to that required by the Hotel.
Achieve the best payment conditions with suppliers.
Get, when possible, the best discounts.
Maintain continuous supply of merchandise to avoid shortages.
Maintain a Supplier Directory, with names, telephone numbers, addresses and lines managed by each supplier.
Ensure that the purchasing process is carried out in accordance with the procedures and policies established in the company.
Participate in the search for new suppliers and product alternatives.RequirementsBachelors degree in Accounting or similar
Experience in a similar position for at least 2 years
Hospitality experience essential
Desirable luxury hospitality experience
