Summary

The goal of this position is to enable the organization to increase the use of BI tools and support Business Controlling organization on Analytics, financial reporting and planning infrastructure.
Role requires an analytical, data & results-driven professional with strong communication and collaboration skills to translate business requirements into analytical solutions - an individual who can design, develop and implement analytics solutions in landscape of BI dashboards, Data Mining & Insights.

What you'll doThis role resides in the Controlling Solutions team and works closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their reporting needs and translate them into BI dashboards and actionable insightsBI & Analytics Development:

Work with team lead and business users to define data, dashboarding and analytical requirements.
Develop dashboards using Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Power BI).
Understand the data requirement, perform feasibility analysis and work with IT to deliver solutions to internal customers.
Conduct testing on solutions in accordance with business and functional design following best practices for quality assurance.
Perform data mining, gather diverse set of data needs (Internal/External), work on in-sights for management.
Perform ongoing development and maintenance of a BI architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad-hoc analysis and insight generation.
Be an expert in BI, advise best practices on data governance and visual analytics development.
Monitor BI usage, drive user-engagement and deliver training initiatives.
Improve efficiency of managed systems (operational, financial budgeting/reporting)
Build in-depth knowledge of relevant IT systems.

Budgeting and Reporting

Support financial reporting and budgeting infrastructure.
Be part of the report preparation process for financial and operational results.
Provide business insights; suggest and define operational KPIs.
Support ad hoc analysis required for financial review, prepare PowerPoint presentations

What you'll need

Degree holder, major in IT, Business, Accounting & Finance or other related discipline.
A minimum of 4 years relevant professional work experience.
Extensive knowledge of Oracle BI or Power BI.
Working knowledge of SQL, Python is required.
Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML) for Predictive Analytics development.
Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Independent, proactive and well organised with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Good communication & influencing skills, fluent in English.

MS Excel Macro, Power Query & Power Pivots
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure tech stack for data analytics
