- The application support manager is involved in the hiring, development, performance evaluation, and overall people management for his/her specific line of service.
- He/she is responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the support processes within his line of service, which also include the collaboration with other support and business teams within Infor.
- He/she arranges, assigns, adjusts, and monitors shifts to ensure appropriate support coverage
- He/she ensures the consistent design of appropriate services, technology, processes, and metrics to meet current and evolving business outcomes and requirements
- He/she undertakes any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of previous application support
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to consistently perform in a high pressure, deadline oriented global environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Clear communication skills in both verbal and written/electronic mode.
- Familiar with basic function of Sales and Marketing, Reporting, CRM, Support, Professional Service, HR or Financial applications.
- 5 or more years application and/or business process experience.
- Proven software application troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of SQL (Microsoft/Oracle/DB2)
- Background in functional business area
- Familiar with basic function of Sales and Marketing, Reporting, CRM, Support, Professional Service, HR or Financial applications.
- Solid track record in an operational/support role, understands incident/problem/change management and how to drive stability across organizations.
- Strong and keen focus on operational performance metrics and trend analysis
- Ability to write a script from scratch and ability to understand existing scripts by looking at them.
- Scrum/Agile Methodology experience is a plus
