Indirect Procurement Assistant Manager(RETAIL)

• Develop a local non-trade procurement strategy and way-of-working;
• Liaise with group non-trade procurement and execute group non-trade procurement strategy
• Develop, align and execute a yearly action plan to upgrade the Procurement Function
• Building and leading the local procurement functional team to manage multiple categories of spend,
• Conduct supplier management activities,
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers that enhance the strategic partnership.
• Taking as an example of group way of working framework, implement a robust supplier management process including selection, evaluation, performance management, and continuous improvement.
• Verifies and authorizes procurement orders
• Places orders and expedites deliveries when needed
• Prepares tender invitations and executes tender openings for selected items and compares tenders for procurement decisions
• Sources alternative products with competitive prices, while striving to maintain better or comparable quality, standards and services
• Support IT team to build system supported PO process

• Proven working experience as a procurement assistant manager in multinational companies,
• Expert in sourcing and procurement methodologies, concepts and execution processes as well as supplier management
• Expert for non-trade procurement category strategies
• Expertise in supplier's management and procurement
• Good in negotiations and communication. Fluent in English
• Good interpersonal skills
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Good leadership capabilities
• Capable to develop the system & strategy from scratch by building a whole process for non-trade-procurement company wide.
