Food & Beverage Assistant – Clayton Hotel SligoWe have a fantastic new vacancy for Food & Beverage Assistant in the excellent Clayton Hotel Sligo.Set on beautiful grounds overlooked by the spectacular Benbulben Mountain the 4-star Clayton Hotel Sligo has 162 bedrooms of which 96 are superior bedrooms. The Hotel has 6 meeting rooms, accommodating 2 to 600 delegates, all of which are situated in the purpose-built conference centre. We have our busy Bulbens Bar & Bistro & Sinergie Restaurant to cater for our guests.Objective of the RoleReporting to the Food & Beverage Manager & Supervisor, the F&B Assistant will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.Benefits:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly using their name.
Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.

Requirements:

Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star hotel property is desired but not essential.
Previous experience in a high volume/ fast paced environment.
Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
Micros Experience would be preferable.
