- Conducting internal audits of the company's financial records, operational processes, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations - Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes, and making recommendations for improvements - Identifying and investigating instances of fraud, waste, or abuse within the organization - Collaborating with management to develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency - Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to senior management and the Board of Directors - Monitoring the implementation of corrective actions and following up on audit findings to ensure compliance
