As a skilled and detail-oriented individual, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and functionality of our optical systems and testing.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior Level Optical Testing Technicians.Position Responsibilities:Apply your knowledge of optical sciences to assist in the assembly, calibration, and testing of optical systems and componentsConduct measurements and experiments using optical test equipment, such as power meters, and oscilloscopes, to evaluate the performance and characteristics of optical devicesCollaborate with engineers and scientists to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to optical systems, providing hands-on support and recommendations for improvementsAssist in the documentation of experimental procedures, test results, and findings, ensuring accuracy and traceability of dataMaintain and calibrate optical equipment and instruments to ensure their proper functioning and accuracySupport the design and implementation of optical experiments, including the setup and alignment of optical componentsStay updated with the latest advancements in optical sciences and technologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and proceduresAssist in the procurement and inventory management of optical components and materialsAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with optical systems and equipmentThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
