Recently ASML has launched its Shared Service organization (ABS) to deliver world-class transactional & operational support services organized around E2E processes.We are looking for an experienced Shared Services leader in the Purchase to Pay domain. You will be responsible for leading the regional Accounts Payable team (Hwasung, Korea) and you will manage our remote contract partner for Indirect Procurement in the Asia region.
Your team (8 direct reports and a 5 indirect reports) will grow in the near future, as we will extend the scope of our P2P services.Your main purpose is to ascertain appropriate delivery of the P2P services and to monitor the performance of your team(s). You will maintain a close relationship with the other regions (US, EU) and with project-teams working on projects coming from our roadmap.Overall you will daily use your leadership skills to manage people, manage department performance and to align with stakeholders in Procurement and Finance.You will lead in setting the tactical and operational direction for the portfolio of the services for the region. As our organization is growing, you will integrate other portfolios outside our own domain. Stakeholder management is conducted upon various levels up to and including alignment with executive leaders.The services for Vendor Operations Asia includes the following domains;
- Non Product Related Procurement (serviced by partner)
- Accounts Payable
- Payments Operations.Role and responsibilities
  • Manage regional team, capacity planning, recruitment, career development and promotes team spirit and develop an awareness of the team’s effectiveness, aspirations and morale by developing and promoting the ASML Core Values (Collaborate, Challenge and Care);
  • Guides, coaches and leads the team to deliver services in line with user expectations;
  • Govern effective and efficient regional execution of the Vendor Operations activities in accordance with global E2E processes and tooling in compliancy with policies and procedures
  • Monitors service delivery and drives continuous Service Improvement across teams;
  • Guide the local supplier providing services on Indirect Procurement (NPR);
  • As part of the leadership team of Vendor Operations, the Regional Manager will constantly align with the mission and vision of Vendor Operations in relation to the ABS and ASML strategy, structure, processes, skills, management style, behavior, job-roles, accountabilities and shared values;
  • Provide regionally consistent services for all users;
  • The people management skills should enable the team to operate as a high performing and engaged team;
  • Safeguard compliance internal organization and outsourced partners to applicable laws and regulations;
  • Responsible to identify the capabilities needed and making sure the capabilities are available for these services;
  • Reviews management information and trends and act on these when required;
  • Resolving escalations regarding operations and suppliers.
Education and experienceMinimum of at least 8 years relevant working experience in Shared Services, with a focus on the Purchase to Pay domain;
  • Experienced in working in cross regional teams;
  • Experience with Service Management and Lean is a pre;
  • Experience with management of remote contract partners is a pre;
  • Experience with implementation of projects;
  • Experience with SAP, Ariba and preferably Service Now;
  • Solid writing and communication skills
  • Fluent English speaking and writing.
