Position OverviewThe Registered Occupational Therapist will provide patient care based on a comprehensive assessment and written evaluation tailored to the patient’s needs and medical condition. This role requires compliance with hospital and physical therapy department policies and procedures. The therapist will also contribute to the department’s performance improvement plan and the hospital’s commitment to continuous quality improvement. Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing occupational therapy knowledge and skills through conducting staff in-services and attending continuing education courses. Effective communication skills and computer proficiency are essential, along with adherence to the Standards of Practice for Occupational Therapy and the Code of Ethics established by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).What we Offer

  • State of Oklahoma Occupational Therapy License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with a BS, MS, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide care in compliance with hospital and department policies and procedures.
  • Participate in performance improvement and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct staff in-services and attend continuing education courses.
  • Adhere to the Standards of Practice for Occupational Therapy and the AOTA Code of Ethics.
