- Market Intelligence: Analysis of market trends, demand drivers, and client dynamics (30% of the job).
- Selling: Client relationship management, visits, negotiation, and contract finalization (40% of the job).
- Post-Sale Management: Contract management, handover of contracts to the supply chain, supervision of deliveries according to contract terms, and payment collection (30% of the job).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commodity trading or 2-3 years of experience in commercialization of steel/metals
- Availability to travel frequently (at least 3 European trips per month).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical skills (ability to understand cost analysis, product mix, markets, and customers).
- Proficiency in German.
- Knowledge of the metal business domain.
