As such, your responsibilities will include the following:
  • Market Intelligence: Analysis of market trends, demand drivers, and client dynamics (30% of the job).
  • Selling: Client relationship management, visits, negotiation, and contract finalization (40% of the job).
  • Post-Sale Management: Contract management, handover of contracts to the supply chain, supervision of deliveries according to contract terms, and payment collection (30% of the job).
Yearly trade turnover of approx. 400 million euros
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commodity trading or 2-3 years of experience in commercialization of steel/metals
  • Availability to travel frequently (at least 3 European trips per month).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills (ability to understand cost analysis, product mix, markets, and customers).
Nice to have:
  • Proficiency in German.
  • Knowledge of the metal business domain.
