- Support development and implementation of regional category specific strategies
- Identify and recommend ´best in class´ suppliers and maintain good relationships
- Prepare and lead strategic supplier negotiation with regional, sub-regional (Iberia) and local (Portugal) suppliers
- Contribute to global category sourcing strategies and initiatives.
- Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research to support business decisions in investments and budgets and establishment of regional frame contracts
- Specialize in strategic sourcing of goods and services and transportation capacities in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business
- Identification of strategic sourcing opportunities and development and management of strategic suppliers
- Integrate Procurement services at regional level for the business colleagues (divisions)
- Achieving greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price and service
- Close collaboration with purchasing department to optimize purchases.
- Relevant university degree (Bachelor) and/or equivalent experience
- More than 3 years of relevant procurement experience (indirect preferably)
- Project management and supplier management experience preferred
- Fluent English (conversational Spanish is nice to have)
- Good negotiation skill, ability to manage suppliers and key stakeholders
- Knowledge of contract management and risk management
