- Create and execute detailed test plans for new products.
- Maintain software quality for existing products.
- Maintain testing status/progress using standard bug tracking tools.
- Advise approval of final code/hardware components.
- Create FAQ, release notes, and support materials for end-user support groups.
- 2- 4 years' commercial experience in test or quality assurance roles.
- Skilled with creative software and hardware, especially music technology products.
- Proven ability to design high-quality, reliable software test assets including test design, approach, scripts, and bugs.
- Full lifecycle experience in multiple software projects, from inception, planning, development, test, deployment, and maintenance.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experienced with both Windows and Mac OSX platforms.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving approach.
- Fluent spoken and good written English.
- Located in United Kingdom, ideally within commuting distance
- A degree-level qualification in Computer Sciences, Electronic Music Production, Audio Engineering, general music practices/performance, or a related field.
- Experience with scripting languages and test automation frameworks.
- Software development background.
