Freight Broker

• Act as the primary liaison between shippers and carriers, optimizing logistics solutions.
• Develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships.
• Negotiate terms and rates with carriers, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance.
• Schedule and track freight, managing all logistics from initiation to delivery.
• Handle documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Leverage technology platforms like HubSpot, Slack, and Rose Rocket for streamlined operations.
• Maintain an active presence on LinkedIn to engage with industry peers and promote our services.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred for effective stakeholder communication.
• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of freight broker laws and regulations.

• At least 3 years of experience in freight brokerage, with a focus on FTL and LTL shipments.
• Experience in cold storage or refrigerated goods logistics is beneficial.
• Proficient in logistics software, Google Suite, and CRM tools.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships.
