A fantastic opportunity for a group tax manager to join the tax team of a hugely successful privately held Irish group. The group are growing beyond it's core business divisions and as such will provide sustainable growth into the future. You will join a well established, friendly tax team and be involved in a wide variety of good tax work. A great opportunity for a tax manager looking for a broader tax role and close to commercial activities.About the position

Manage the tax compliance process and liaising with external advisors in this regard
Responding to and managing tax audits
Ensuring timely preparation of transfer pricing documentation, including collaborating with colleagues and external advisors
Assisting with the completion of acquisitions and disposals
Review and advise on business transactions from a tax perspective
Liaising with external advisors to obtain and implement advice
Evaluate and advise management on the tax consequences of domestic and international legislative changes
Assist with the timely completion of R&D credit claims and related reports
Provide technical support on withholding tax, VAT and payroll matters

About the person

Chartered Tax Advisor
Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
Well organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical skills and ability to research complex issues
Self-motivated – able to work both individually and as a member of a team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to simplify and communicate technical tax issues
Ability to build effective working relationships with all levels of the business
