- Creating spreadsheet-based models
- Preparing high-quality graphics
- Writing technical reports
- Developing presentation materials
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualities:
- 3+ years of experience in the transportation planning field is required
- Additional transit experience desired in any of the following additional areas:
- Transit scheduling and operations
- Zero-emission bus technologies and electrical principles
- “Emerging mobility” solutions such as Microtransit
- Bachelors degree in urban planning, transportation engineering, or related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
- AICP or PE certification is desirable but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets to interpret data and conduct complex analysis
- Experience supporting or managing transit planning projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work on-site and non-standard business hours occasionally, must be able to travel
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, GIS and, analysis add-ons; such as Network Analyst and Spatial Analyst
