The ideal candidate for this role will be a newly qualified ACA Accountant from practice who is looking to take their first step into industry. This role will provide huge exposure within the greater business including liaising with stakeholders across divisions.💼 Role Overview:
As an R2R Assistant Manager with a focus on Tax and Statutory Accounts, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, while also providing valuable insights to optimise tax strategies and minimise risk.🎯 Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve tax-related issues and inquiries.
  • Lead the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and accounting regulations, advising management on potential implications and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement processes to streamline tax reporting and optimise efficiency.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
👤 Requirements:
  • Qualified ACA Accountant
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role is a plus.
