Job Title: Humanities TeacherLocation:North East England, County Durham, HartlepoolJob Type:Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry:Education and TrainingJob Duties:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Humanities subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through tests, assignments, and examinations
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in a relevant Humanities subject
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:Bachelor's degree in a Humanities subjectExperience:Previous experience teaching Humanities subjects in a school settingKnowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of pedagogical approaches in Humanities education
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:The role involves working in a school environment, following the academic calendar. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for school events or meetings.
