We are looking for a Plant Manager to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes. The Plant Manager will be responsible for the administration, production, and warehousing operations in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by the organization.Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall activities of the facilities including the directing, advising, and managing of direct and indirect subordinates to ensure a strong workforce and team performance.
  • Participate in hiring, promotion, discipline, and/or discharge decisions of workforce within scope of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with Director of Operations and Facilities regarding adjustments to rates of pay/position status, and necessary disciplinary actions to ensure adherence to company policy.
  • Address workforce complaints and participate in investigations, as appropriate, while completing required documentation and providing a timely resolution.
  • Maintain close surveillance over operations to assure coordination and integration of workflow, budgetary conformance, schedules and optimum utilization of personnel, machines, equipment and facilities.
  • Manage employee workforce in manner to encourage employee involvement and participation with emphasis on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate interdepartmentally.
  • Comply with Company SOP’s.
  • Provide information or indication of problems to Management, Quality Assurance or Maintenance.
  • Reports to work regularly and on time.
  • Perform duties safely and to report unsafe conditions or actions.
  • Assists in other duties as needed and directed.
Requirements
  • 7+ years’ experience in a leadership role in manufacturing management in nutraceutical manufacturing or continuous process-oriented cGMP facility.
  • Experience implementing manufacturing strategy.
  • Ability to implement changes that support the company vision.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills are a must. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
