New Business Account CoordinatorLocation: BasingstokeSalary: £28,000-£32,000 + BonusHours: Monday to Friday, 8am- 5pmMy client who are based in Basingstoke are seeking an New Business Account Coordinator to join their exciting and friendly team. To apply for this role you will need to be self-driven, be a strong communicator and an excellent team player. You will be responsible for the customer journey from end to end and delivering a smooth service to all.Responsibilities:Internal account management and sales order processing, with the aim of maintaining and developing the sales of a range of metals to small, medium and large accounts in accordance with targets and the business plan.Inbound customer telephone, fax and e-mail order takingOutbound telephone prospecting to sub contract engineering companies, OEMs etc from lapsed list, key targets and self-generated target companies.This includes qualifying prospects and fact finding of spend and material usedPrice Negotiation with customers in line with company pricing policySales administration and order processing via ERP/Stock softwarePurchasing negotiation and order processing via ERP/Stock softwareDaily communication with and progressive Customer Relationship Management of accountsInternal liaison with office management, warehouse and stock support functions.Attend meetings when required to aid performance of duties and support business/organisational developmentAnd to support other general business needs as and when requiredTo work within and follow all sales quality management procedures in line with IS0 9001, in particular Contract Review or orders.Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required.Any other duties as required by the companyKey Skills:Self-Driven results orientated with a focus on margin growth and profitability.General business acumen, with an ability to understand basic business finances such as turnover & gross margin.Excellent face to face and telephone communicator able to demonstrate success and experience managing large and small accounts.Basic IT skills around Microsoft office software such as word, excel, and e-mail and use of ERP system would be useful.Teamwork, Commitment, Diligence, Enthusiasm & Respect
