- Good understanding of all manufacturing processes within the workshop.
- Improve current operations wherever possible.
- Working with Engineering Team, to ensure all product requirements are met as well as providing lessons learnt.
- Support manufacturing and projects teams for onsite integration work scopes.
- Liaising with suppliers and customers.
- Planning and organising maintenance of workshop equipment.
- Generating weld maps and dimensional report templates.
- Identifying required inspection points on all drawings for the workshop.
- Supporting metallurgy with generation of cold forming procedures based on manufacturing requirements.
- Assisting workshop and QC departments with the interpretation and implementation of clients requirements.
- Setting up CMM inspection templates per component for dimensional verification.
- Simulating tube design prior to bending within CNC machine.
- Setting up CNC files within bending software to ensure correct tooling, bend radius etc. have been chosen.
- Generation of internal rework plans.
- SVQ level 3 within an engineering discipline.
- Higher National Certificate (HNC) or greater within an engineering discipline.
- Advanced knowledge of isometric drawings.
- Good knowledge and experience of 3D CAD software packages.
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office package.
- Computer literacy.
- Solidworks Software Package.
- Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM).
- VTube Laser.
