Step Teachers, a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts, are looking for a Year 3 Class Teacher in a Primary School in Stevenage. This full time Year 3 Class Teacher role start in September 2024 and is initially for one academic, with the potential to be extended at the discretion of the school. The role is full time and will involve planning, marking and reporting.The position is at an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary School with a three-form entry; they are aware of the importance of each child as an individual and recognising their strengths. They strongly advocate for the importance of learning being fun and rewarding for the child and so they develop an enjoyment for learning.Year 3 Class Teacher Role:

Strong knowledge of the curriculum in Primary School
Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Year 3 Class Teacher Requirements:

Hold Qualified Teaching Status
Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Primary School Teacher
Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
Experience working with SEND is desirable
