- Drafting and negotiating commercial C-PACE financing documents and related agreements.
- Performing legal diligence on transactions, including, as needed: review of capital stacks and other financing sources’ documentation, review of environmental status and documents, review of borrower organization documents, title work, condominium documents, lease agreements, contractor installation agreements, etc.
- Identifying, evaluating and addressing issues of legal risk.
- Reviewing closing, conveyancing, loan, and corporate resolution documents in connection with transactions.
- Tracking transaction tasks, parties, and key dates, and communicating progress to team as issues and tasks are resolved.
- Managing post-closing matters.
- Assisting on corporate governance and regulatory matters germane to the C-PACE investment class, as necessary.
- Conducting basic legal and business research.
- Similar responsibilities as needs dictate.
