Gulf & Ranges Optometrists, have a unique role for an Optometrist, whether you are experienced, a husband and wife duo or recently graduated, based in Port Augusta.Part of your unique offering is providing outreach to several locations involving travel and overnight stays.Skills and Experience:There is a strong focus placed on skill development with an expectation of measured improvement.You will be supported to attend training that is of an interest to you, along with direction given for training to support individual and business growth, including non specific learning.You have an interest in full scope Optometry with a high focus on:

Eye health management,
Therapeutics, and
Co management with visiting specialists.
Culturally diverse clientele

Dispensing skills are preferred, along with a willingness to support leave for Optometrists in our Mount Gambier and Victor Harbor locations.What makes us unique

We are at the Crossroads of Australia triaging acute eye health needs with GP's and specialists
Working with visiting Ophthalmologists monthly at the Port Augusta Hospital
Support with Senior Optometrists face to face and via fortnightly peer supporting including 3 sites
No weekends or working between Christmas and New Year
Off street staff parking and a maximum 3 traffic lights to navigate on the way to work
At the doorstep of the mighty Flinders Ranges and Eyre Peninsula - bushwalking, camping and swimming with the cuttlefish and easy weekenders
