- the design, development and implementation of a new in-home aged care program which will replace the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care and Residential Respite
- implementation of the Australian National Aged Care Classification funding model for residential care
- commissioning a new single assessment workforce
- development, implementation, and the management of efficient, effective and sustainable funding programs for home and residential care
- data and analysis to support evidence-based decisions and policies.
- Support Project Managers in day-to-day delivery, ensuring project team completes deliverables on time and quality and are achieving agreed outcomes.
- Support Project Managers with project analysis to support decision making and planning, including research and contribution to the preparation of project briefs.
- Support Project Director in business case and costings development, and other ad hoc tasks as directed.
- Coordinate and contribute to project change request processes.
- Provide ongoing operational support including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with various internal and external stakeholders as needed to drive outcomes.
- Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed project management methodology.
- Assist in the coordination of Department of Finance Gateway Review process, providing independent assurance and advice in reporting on the delivery and implementation of projects.
- An understanding of an ICT environment, SDLC and agile methodology.
- Ability to plan/manage activities and deliver outcomes within established project timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and achieve results to meet program objectives within tight timeframes.
- Ability to Collaborate with relevant stakeholders as needed.
- An understanding of risk management practices and how to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrate the capacity to adjust to changing factors, conditions, and environments.
