- Assisting the Brand Director in maintaining Brand standards, achievement of strategic objectives, delivery of change projects and building outstanding relationships with the Brand.
- Leading, coaching, developing and managing the team to elevate their performance and behaviours, whilst delivering results.
- Assisting the Brand Director in developing and implementing both the customer and colleague journey, ensuring that all customers & colleagues are treated fairly and equitably.
- Conducting thorough examinations of monthly sales management accounts raising any areas of concern/opportunity with the Head of Business.
- Developing a full understanding of all monthly / quarterly / annual requirements in order to ensure
- Driving forwards new and used car volumes and profitability across the market area.
- Daily / weekly / monthly monitoring of sales enquiry levels and sales department activity levels in order to ensure that marketing activity is sufficient and that shortfalls are identified early.
- Developing and implementing robust processes to ensure efficiency within the processing and transacting of new and used vehicles.
- Supporting the sites to ensure natural achievement of expected financial results in new and used car sales.
- Undertaking monthly site reviews to ensure all used vehicle stock appropriately merchandised on all platforms.
- To develop and provide regular reporting around all areas of the divisional sales operation.
- Proven experience of leading and managing successful teams to deliver results within a sales environment.
- A customer centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations.
- Ability to create and develop a culture of continuous improvement.
- A strong team player who considers the bigger picture when making decisions.
- Ability to think strategically with the drive and determination to be the best and not accepting anything less.
- Strong attention to detail and the desire to deliver impeccable standards right across the business including personal presentation.
- Knowledge and experience of marketing.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- A driving license free from excessive penalties.
