The school offers a partially residential and school setting to students aged between 5 and 16, currently accommodating 80+ pupils. The school is eager to welcome a long-term SEN TA to provide support on a 1:1 and whole-class basis for the rest of the academic year. This role requires commitment Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm daily, during term time. The school caters to learners with Autism, Asperger's, and other associated learning difficulties, offering a creative, broad curriculum that includes recreational activities. Recognized for excellence, the school has recently been awarded the eco-healthy school award and registered with the Arts Council. Requirements:
  • Must be a resilient, caring, and committed individual
  • keen to support SEN learners in an educational setting
  • Care or Education experience desirable but not essential Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
  • Supporting KS1-KS4 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group, and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers about pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole-school training events
