Company DescriptionEurofins TMFI is a forensic services laboratory which not only provides in-house DNA services but also provides access to a wide range of other (analytical) services. Eurofins TMFI currently has three locations and is developing rapidly. The forensic operation is located in Maastricht, Amsterdam and (legal) DNA relationship testing is also provided from Gouda under the trade name Verilabs. This dynamic organization currently consists of approximately 45 ambitious employees and has a strong ambition aimed at providing maximum support to the Dutch criminal justice system with innovative, flexible and customer-oriented solutions.Job DescriptionEurofins TMFI is growing their current analytical functions and extending the forensic services offered. Alongside such projects the team is dedicated to working to ensure all processes are implemented to a high quality, accredited to the required standards and aligned with global and national best practices.We require a dedicated individual to provide day to day quality support to all TMFI operational teams with a key focus on the quality management of the forensic medical projects and continuous improvement. In this this role you will be actively involved in the further development of forensic medical investigations ranging from the validation and implementation of methods and improvements to the creation and management of operational documents, such as, procedures and work instructions. All in line with the associated international standards.Key role responsibilities
  • To support with the management of non-conformances and customer complaints across the business;
  • To support with document control activity to ensure compliance with the Quality Management Systems and associated regulations and international standards.
  • To assist the Quality Manager and Business Units during regulatory audits, internal audits and customer visits as required.
  • To support the achievement and ongoing compliance to the required regulations, international standards and best practices.
  • To hold ownership of the Quality workstream associated with the Forensic Medical investigation service.
  • To have and encourage a proactive approach to Continuous Improvement (CI)
  • To communicate effectively to team members and team leads to ensure the escalation of priorities and improvement opportunities.
  • To work in accordance with Eurofins values of customer focus, competence and team spirit, quality and integrity.
Qualifications
  • You have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree;
  • You have quality management or quality support experience within an accredited medical or forensic laboratory (ISO 15189 and/or ISO 17025);
  • You are able to manage a complex and varied workload including ability to prioritise tasks accordingly.
  • You are a creative thinker with an 'out of the box' mind-set;
  • You embrace change and Continuous Improvement (CI);
  • You use your own initiative and have a proactive approach towards CI in science, quality and efficiency;
  • You have a critical, constructive and flexible attitude;
  • You can work independently but are also a Team Player.
  • You work accurately and are result-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • You are able to communicate confidently in both Dutch and English.
