Job Description:The Regional People Business Partner will be the lead point of contact within the People Function for Kroll's LATAM region, which includes Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia. This role is based in Sao Paolo or Mexico City and may have team members reporting to it.Shape and drive the execution of regional Reporting to the Regional Service Delivery Leader, Americas, the Business Partner works in partnership with our Global People Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to plan, deliver and implement our global solutions, frameworks, and initiatives in country, balancing global consistency and local relevance. This role will manage all employee relations issues in the LATAM region and act as an escalation point for advice, interpretation and guidance on people policies, practices and processes in the region.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • people plan and priorities, aligned to the overall Kroll people strategy.
  • Manage ER issues, providing advice, interpretation and guidance on people policies, practices and processes (conducting investigation, counseling on performance related issues)
  • Oversee and/or execute on local compliance regulations, including but not limited to wet signatures, stamps, and government-required filings. Lead on HR business continuity planning and manage people risk in the region.
  • Handle HR-related queries and issues from managers/employees and that are escalated by our third-party partner. Enable and improve the end-to-end colleague experience at a country level, driving towards becoming an employer of choice in that market.
  • Document HR policies and standard operating procedures
  • Provide information to COEs and third-party partner to process transfers, relocation and information related to mobility and visas
  • Partner with the Centers of Excellence and People Business Partners to ensure alignment with local relevance and geographic needs.
  • Represent the voice of the employee and the needs of the geography to the People Leadership Team and the wider organisation.
  • Act as a point of connection across the People functional teams to foster a positive culture and engagement across the region and serve as a point of integration for all activities.
  • Develop and execute the talent strategy at a country level, aligned to global frameworks and business need including employee relocations.
  • Drive employee engagement locally. Develop and execute country engagement initiatives.
  • Provide information to COEs and third-party partner to process transfers, relocation and information related to mobility and visas
  • Continually seek opportunities for improvement, harmonization and optimization in all day-to-day processes and interactions.
  • Use HR analytics to identify trends and provide recommendations to address workforce challenges
  • Elevate concerns to the relevant Centers of Excellence and People Business Partners as and when required.
  • Act as an advocate and role model within the People team and embrace and deliver on the Firms values
  • Assist with various People projects as assigned.
Essential Traits:
  • Experience of successfully operating in a Senior Regional HR leader role
  • Extensive knowledge of evolving local employment legislation and labor compliance across our LATAM countries
  • Significant people management, leadership, and stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a global matrixed organization.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, able to cascade complex messages in simple form, and ensure colleagues can see how what they do day to day supports the company strategic priorities and direction.
  • Strong understanding of the local talent landscape, pipeline, and labor market.
  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically, and flex between the big picture view and the detailed execution.
  • Able to drive transformative change and lead through influence.
  • Displays a strong commercial acumen and able to drive the business transformation agenda by informing management decisions.
  • Confidentially uses data and analytics to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to the business.
  • Demonstrates strong brand stewardship by displaying good judgement and understanding how decisions can impact Kroll's reputation.

  • Degree or equivalent and/or relevant HR experience (minimum 8-10 years)
  • Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish is required.
