- Lead and manage municipal engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and engineering analyses to support project planning and design decisions.
- Prepare engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and contract documents in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project implementation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff, fostering their professional development and growth.
- Conduct field inspections and construction oversight to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, planners, surveyors, and environmental scientists to integrate engineering solutions into comprehensive project designs
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
- Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure systems, regulations, and design standards.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
