- Enhance the profile of the Fund Operations, Financial Reporting, and Accounting Operations functions within the organization.
- Drive operational performance by standardizing business processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Fund accounting and operational services for successful business integration programs.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and stakeholder management for project teams.
- Participate in Program and Project Steering Committee meetings.
- Collaborate closely with the counterpart Group on project facilitation and requirements negotiation.
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and increase overall service levels.
- Lead projects that add value, reduce operational risk, and contribute to the retention and profitable growth of the client portfolio.
- Regularly review work practices and procedures to identify opportunities for quality and productivity improvements.
- Develop succession plans and enhance skills within the Client Accounting team.
- Manage resources and finances within the allocated budget.
- Ensure timely delivery of scheme accounting reports and relevant regulatory reports to clients.
- Coordinate with appointed auditors for audit signoff on financial operations of administered schemes.
- Oversee various reconciliation processes.
- Champion the implementation of new business processes to drive beneficial improvements.
- Manage organizational and technological changes affecting the Fund Operations, Financial Reporting, and Accounting Operations team.
- Collaborate with other teams within the bank to improve overall performance.
- Emphasize the importance of client relationships and critical processes within the team.
- Foster an environment of openness and information sharing through regular team meetings and communication processes.
- Provide career counseling and development opportunities for the Client Accounting team.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and company policies across operations and practices.
- Critically appraise internal practices to achieve best practices within the Fund Operations, Financial Reporting, and Accounting Operations team.
