Do you like to get up early and be done with work by lunchtime?We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our morning team.Position: Morning Bakery AssistantHours: 5 shifts per week (mornings) 4am-12pm. This role may be considered for a split part time role, less shifts per week.This should be discussed at interviewSalary: Competitive, based on experienceAs a member of the morning team, you'll play a key role in our operations. You'll be responsible for packing up the bread made by the bake team and getting it ready for delivery and then assisting in various prep tasks for the next bake shift.Key Responsibilities
Packing up bread ready for shop shelves and slicing loaves using our bread slicer.
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the bakery area.
Preparing ingredients for dough, mixing dough and handling dough according to recipes and standards.
Operating baking equipment, such as bread slicers, mixers and provers, safely and efficiently.
Assisting with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and packaging.
Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth running of the department.
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar food production setting is advantageous.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Food hygiene and safety certification is preferred.
Happy to start work early in the morning.
