About the roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Biomedical Scientist (New Registrant) or Trainee Biomedical Scientist to join the Haematology Division at Noble's Hospital.This is an interesting and varied role within a friendly team based in a district general hospital laboratory setting, with clinical links to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.You will rotate through the routine, coagulation and specials sections, as well as a rotation in the Blood Transfusion laboratory, which will further enhance and complement your skillset.For the Band 5 New Registrant post, you must be HCPC registered and possess the relevant IBMS Portfolio qualification or equivalent. Applications will also be considered for a trainee position (Band 5 Annex U), if you already hold or are about to graduate from a Biomedical Science degree accredited by the IBMS, but require the IBMS registration portfolio.
