- Exemplifying a safety-first mindset and ensuring compliance to the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards
- Maintaining Regulatory Compliance
- In collaboration with Lean Deployment partners, apply the Maintenance Engineering steps of the Global Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Program to achieve the required levels of maturity
- Develop program to reduce/prevent/eliminate asset failures
- Work with Planner to implement and maintain preventive maintenance program
- Ensure maintainability of new installations
- Conduct forensic and Root Cause Failure Analysis of asset failures
- Provide technical advice to maintenance team
- Ensure proper operation and care of equipment
- Establish a comprehensive lubrication program
- Perform inspections of adjustments, parts, part replacements, overhauls, etc., for selected equipment
- Ensure equipment protection from environmental conditions
- Maintain and analyze equipment data and history records to predict maintenance needs
- Assessing required maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance of equipment
- Experience as an Operator, Maintenance Engineering role within a manufacturing environment of CNC milling machines
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with an ability to work with various levels of the business as well as establish collaborative working relationships across different departments
- Basic IT Skills
- Experience using CNC Machines at Maintenance or Operator level
- Maintenance, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications
- Understanding of export control and regulations
- Previous TPM experience
- Knowledge of various Microsoft Packages
