Senior Accountant

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Perform financial analysis and provide insights to the management team
- Coordinate with auditors during the annual audit process
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- SAICA, SAIPA or CIMA articles preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
