The successful candidate will be responsible for leading assigned programs through the lifecycle from planning phase to market launch, taking responsibility for planning, execution, and close out.Responsibilities/Duties
  • Work closely with functional leadership such as Marketing and Engineering to develop clear requirements for the programs to meet market and internal company goals.
  • Develop the execution plan, this includes working with all stakeholders to deliver the completed projects to internal and external customers.
  • Oversee the successful execution of the programs:
  • Manage the key program attributes of on-time-delivery, scope, budget and staffing to ensure programs stay on track and within commitments.
  • Continually evaluate risks and take appropriate action to mitigate.
  • Work closely with functional team leads to ensure program deliverables and dependencies are being met.
  • Co-ordinate activities, priorities, meetings and communications ensuring alignment across all cross-functional teams while optimizing performance at a program level.
  • Serve as the focal point for communications. Compile regular status updates for all stakeholders and effectively escalate critical issues and risks as necessary.
  • Ensure programs are developed in compliance with specified internal, customer or industry standards, processes and procedures.
  • Serve as a champion for advancing Program Management best practices and new methodologies within the business group and across ADI.
The ideal candidate …
  • Bachelor’s degree. (Masters, MBA, PMP an advantage).
  • Minimum of 15 years industry experience. The program manager must have strong practical experience in project management, gained through managing large/complex projects and proven experience in hardware & software development.
  • Proven success in leading cross functional teams using indirect management skills.
  • Experience with multi-site, multi-geographical development is desired.
