- Work closely with functional leadership such as Marketing and Engineering to develop clear requirements for the programs to meet market and internal company goals.
- Develop the execution plan, this includes working with all stakeholders to deliver the completed projects to internal and external customers.
- Oversee the successful execution of the programs:
- Manage the key program attributes of on-time-delivery, scope, budget and staffing to ensure programs stay on track and within commitments.
- Continually evaluate risks and take appropriate action to mitigate.
- Work closely with functional team leads to ensure program deliverables and dependencies are being met.
- Co-ordinate activities, priorities, meetings and communications ensuring alignment across all cross-functional teams while optimizing performance at a program level.
- Serve as the focal point for communications. Compile regular status updates for all stakeholders and effectively escalate critical issues and risks as necessary.
- Ensure programs are developed in compliance with specified internal, customer or industry standards, processes and procedures.
- Serve as a champion for advancing Program Management best practices and new methodologies within the business group and across ADI.
- Bachelor’s degree. (Masters, MBA, PMP an advantage).
- Minimum of 15 years industry experience. The program manager must have strong practical experience in project management, gained through managing large/complex projects and proven experience in hardware & software development.
- Proven success in leading cross functional teams using indirect management skills.
- Experience with multi-site, multi-geographical development is desired.
