- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis on Target companies to evaluate financial performance and position.
- Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements, cash flows, and deal metrics to identify key business drivers, trends, and anomalies.
- Regularly communicate observations and findings to project team leads in a constructive manner.
- Responsible for drafting of follow-up discussion agenda with Target company management to address potential concerns
- Manage interactions with Target management, demonstrating effective communication skills and professionalism.
- Take a primary role in data management, reviewing source information, and highlighting data gaps in a timely manner.
- Assist project teams in drafting reports, articulating key findings, potential risks, and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Act as a key team member across engagements, collaborating with team members from various functions.
- Strong academic background with a focus on finance, accounting or related fields. Candidates with professional qualifications such as ISCA / SQP, ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a global accounting firms, preferably with exposure to financial due diligence. Candidates with audit, M&A, business combinations or business analytics will be considered, with a demonstrated aptitude for learning.
- Strong analytical skills complemented with sound business acumen.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Exposure to wide / diverse industries is value adding.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Any additional language capability (e.g. Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese) is an added advantage to facilitate client's communication.
