Visit us atYou Are:UST HealthProof is looking for a contracting Paralegal who will play a crucial role in assiting attorneys on various contracts and agreements with our partners and customers. Candidates should have a strong understanding of contract law, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to engage with senior-level executives and other stakeholders to ensure that contracts align with company objectives and mitigate potential risks.The Opportunity:As a Paralegal at UST HealthProof, this is your opportunity to:
  • Assist and provide a range of legal support and administration to lawyers and other legal professionals that work at the Legal and Contract’s department
  • Compare documents draft review research and organizational assistance to in-house attorneys in the negotiation of customer and vendor agreements and other corporate and commercial transaction documents
  • Provide paralegal support on special projects
  • Must be proactive and able to identify issues legal risks and potential liabilities in order to report these to the corporate attorneys
  • Process documents for signature and maintain executed agreements in repository
  • Manage repository site including permissions folder creation and updates
  • Conduct legal and factual research and statistical analyses as directed by reporting attorney
  • Provide paralegal support in establishment of other entities in new countries intellectual property matters and discovery matters
  • Organize and manage documents including the creation of spreadsheets and retrieval systems
  • Coordinate the collection review and production of documents and responding to discovery requests
  • Administer Legal Matter Management tool and facilitate payments to outside counsel
  • Maintain and file corporate records including resolutions board of director changes annual reports etc.
  • Coordinate and receive board and committee signatures for documents and materials
  • Maintain the intellectual property portfolio and ensure prompt set up of IP matters
  • Triage the Contract’s mailbox including routing and coordination in accordance with timeframes and SLA as set forth
  • Manage multiple priorities track extensive detail and deliver within tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate ability to be a team player and self-starter with drive and initiative
  • High integrity and great judgment positive attitude and commitment to excellence
  • Handles confidential information professionally and consistent with legal and ethical policies
  • Collaborate across functional teams and foster collaborative environment
What you need:
  • 8+ years of experience in relevant paralegal experience
  • Superior writing and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail as well as organizational and strong proofreading skills
  • Ability to work with diverse groups and reach consensus
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills
  • People skills including good judgment and tact
  • Experience working in international corporations and foreign business knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Experience in healthcare IT sector is preferred
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.
